Yesterday while I was in the kitchen, Noah come up behind me and said "Mama, you're fired!". Lol, my little Donald Trump. Sorry son, can't get emancipated from me just yet :) I thought it was totally funny and it cracked me up.
Today was a really good day. We picked Carly up from pre-k and headed to the grocery store to pick up some lunch food - hotdogs, chili, mac & cheese. Thats a really *cough* healthy meal, right? Oh well, it was delish. Maybe not as delish as Carol's chicken salad. But it was still tasty.
Great news! I heard from my Great Great Aunt Martha today! It's been seven months since I've talked with her last and I was so excited to hear her voice. I'm glad I was speechless or else I would have busted her ear drums with my high pitched squeel. She's 81 and not in the best of health, I worry about her and think about her daily. To hear from her was such a blessing and I feel so much better. I love her SO much. We have a very strong connection with each other --and it all started after I lost my grandfather. Anyway, I don't want to get all Debbie Downer or anything. .just wanted to express how happy I am since speaking with her.
Noah just ate two potted meat sandwiches. . .oh my word, he's growing like a weed! Why do I feed my toddler potted meat? Because it's good and he loves it! So what if it's 10:31 pm - he wanted it. I'm kinda wishin he would hurry up and get ready for bedtime cuz I want some time with the hubby tonight. I fell asleep last night and wasn't too much company for him. We'll see how it goes I guess.

LOL! Believe me, my food isn't always healthy! Btw all the chicken salad is taking chicken breasts and throwing them on the ol' George foreman grill, then shredding it up onto a plate of romaine lettuce and halved cherry tomatoes. Then throw some ranch dressing and voilà!
